FRIENDS OF OAKHILL PARK
Incredible Edibles Accrington merged with friends of Oakhill Park. As our Alice garden and base seems to be Oak Hill Park we take pride in the whole park and so we are not just about the Alice Garden and looking at other projects in the park.
Oakhill park pond Clean
November time and Incredible Edibles Accrington clean out the pond and give our friends the frogs a chance. Frogs are good at eating slugs so there is a link to our Alice Garden for the future. If we have loads of frogs hopefully we wont have loads of slugs.
Japanese waterfall and garden
Incredible Edibles Accrington would love to see the waterfall working again. Apparently there are leaks in the rock pools. Whilst cleaning the pond a couple of the volunteers identified where the leaks are. We have successfully secured funding for materials to mend the leaks. When the weather cheers up we can get on with the work.
